A new playground in town

Building a playground for Casablanca

In spring 2011, the entire designLAB department of the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam set up camp in Casablanca to build a playground. On request of heritage organisation Casa Memoire and together with local artisans, the design was realized in three weeks time. Now, besides a physical outlet for children, the playground is also a meeting place for their mothers.
